Larry Zielinski, MBA – Executive Director

Larry Zielinski, MBA, has led successful, market-leading organizations in both health care and banking over the last 40 years.

As the Executive Director of the Primary Care IPA, he brings a passion for preventative care and primary care practice, believing that it can be the solution to our health care challenges.

He also serves as the Executive-in-Residence for Health Care Administration at the University at Buffalo School of Management, responsible for the development and delivery of a program to develop the clinical and administrative health care leaders of the future.

Prior to his work with the Primary Care IPA, he served as the President of Buffalo General Hospital, the 501 bed, $370 million flagship tertiary center of the Kaleida Health system and the main teaching hospital for the University at Buffalo School of Medicine.

He was also the President of the Visiting Nursing Association of Western New York, developing that organization into the leading home health provider in the regional marketplace and one of the most prominent agencies in the country. The VNA was a $63 million home health agency providing a complete array of home services through eight counties.

His health care expertise covers the entire delivery system, including primary, specialty, ancillary, acute, and post-acute care in both adult and pediatric settings.

Prior to his career in health care, Larry was a successful banking executive at Goldome, an $11 billion regional institution serving New York and Florida.
