Cara Petrucci, Population Health Administrator
Cara Petrucci, MBA MPH, is an experienced analyst who has worked for several of the top healthcare organizations in Western New York.
With a background in business and public health, she brings to her role as Population Health Administrator for the Primary Care IPA an interest in data-driven population health-based business models and healthcare reform strategies that focus on aligning clinical and financial outcomes to improve the overall health of the community.
Prior to her work with the Primary Care IPA, she worked as a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Health Behavior at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, in combination with the Department of Thoracic Surgery, on a research project aimed at identifying the clinical and financial impacts of smoking cessation at the time of surgery. Prior to this she worked for Catholic Medical Partners, initially in the role of Project Administrator for the Delivery System Reform Incentive Program (DSRIP), and later as a Healthcare Analyst, where she was responsible for tracking and analyzing performance against contracted metrics with local health plans.
